Hi, I'm Puma! Welcome to my Bio

Hello All,

Thank you for taking a moment to read my biography page. My name is Jorge Armando Verdugo Lucero. I am a third generation fisherman here in Los Barriles. My father and Grandfather have fished these waters for many years. As a kid I can remember their stories of the deep and the great fishing tales. I can also remember the excitement I felt when I was first asked to go. Ever since that first invite, I knew fishing would be my life.

As a young man, when I was not on the water, loved to play soccer. I played forward and my teammates loved to get me the ball as I could always out run the defenders. they started calling me Puma, and has forever stuck. 

​

I am now the captain of my own boat, a 23 foot fully equipped Van Diaz Super Panga built right here in Los Barriles. I pride myself on my clean boat and well equipped tackle. I am equipped for all fishing situations. Off shore for the big game marlin and dorado, to inshore rigging and tackle with live bait and light gear for Pargo, Pompano, and Amberjack. We also like to patrol the shallows for the elusive Roosterfish, Ladyfish, and Jack.

I pride myself on working hard for my clients. We will meet prior to fishing and discuss your wants and needs. Hopefully it will be an experience you never forget.
